Message from Father Brennan  “Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch...do not be afraid.  From now on you will be catching people” (Lk 5:1-11).  With these words, Jesus invites us all this Lent to grow deeper in our relationship with him and to bring others to  him.  Please take some extra time this Lent to grow closer to Jesus in prayer: especially an additional Mass or two a week, join in on the Stations of the Cross Friday evenings, receive the sacrament of Jesus’ mercy in reconciliation.  Also, consider taking part in one of the adult education efforts:  Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. with Deacon Reynold, Friday evenings after stations with Terry Skelley, Tuesday evenings with Fr. Brennan at St. Robert’s, or Wednesday mornings at 10:45 a.m. at St. Jude’s.  Then, of course, do some fasting as you are able to ask Jesus to drive out the evils that are around us.  Thank you.  I hope you keep your schedule from last week of all of our activities for Lent.  Also, please note our communal penance services for our district later in the bulletin.  Please consider joining with our ecumenical community on Sunday February 21 at 12:30 p.m. for a light lunch and then a movie, “The Witness” at Mt. Carmel Baptist at 1 p.m.  May we grow in our efforts to be one as Jesus calls us to be.  May God bless you this Lent with his merciful love that/who is Jesus!  Love and Best of God’s Spirit, Fr. Brennan                               Best of God’s Spirit,                               Fr. Brennan
